Introducing Contact Renewables and Solar Limited and our recent project in Bolton

At Contact Renewables and Solar Limited, we provide a wide range of energy solutions for commercial and residential spaces. We specialize in solar energy, helping businesses reduce their Carbon footprint and saving money on electricity bills. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with TVD Group in Bolton to help them offset their Carbon footprint.

We designed and installed a commercial-sized array to reduce grid reliance that instantly began generating ample amounts of power upon completion. We used 126 Longi 405W modules across seven strings that were wired down to a Huawei SUN2000 inverter. This project was a great success, as it provided immediate Carbon reduction as well as financial benefits due to the lower energy-related expenses.

We are extremely proud of this project and believe that it is an example of how renewable energy can have a positive impact on our environment and economy. The installation allowed TVD Group in Bolton to make significant reductions in their carbon emissions while also providing them with long-term cost savings from reduced electricity bills. We are committed to helping businesses go green by providing cutting-edge solar solutions which enable them to reduce their Carbon footprint while remaining profitable.

The installation process of the 50Kw energy system

Solar energy installations are becoming increasingly popular for businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint and investment costs. With the installation of a 50KW system, businesses can drastically reduce their energy bills and make a meaningful impact on the environment.

The first step in installing this 50kW system is to carry out an onsite survey. This typically involves examining the housing of equipment, checking the roof material and conducting a structural assessment. It also includes establishing the existing electrical setup. Once all this information has been gathered, a design plan can be created to take into consideration array position, irradiance data, the weight of the system, potential wind speeds, additional snow weight, and any other relevant factors.

We then present the design, alongside financial and generation analytics that shows potential bill reductions and carbon reductions, to our client. After a short meeting discussing the simulation results of the design, they accepted it and we can move on to the next stage: application to the district network operator (DNO). This process requires thorough review by the DNO but once accepted, we can begin with the installation.

At this stage, Construction Design Management (CDM) documents are created for health and safety purposes. This ensures that all roles and procedures are properly documented. Once the CDM documents have been accepted by all parties concerned, the installation can begin.

We erect scaffolding, hire access equipment and deliver all equipment to the site and start to make some headway, first with the installation of the 126 modules. Once these are all fitted securely and wired in series to the correct string as per the design, the work indoors begins. The trunking, isolators, meter, and inverter are all fitted onto the wall ready for connection of the array. We had a small window to install a new MCB with a task to not disrupt the servers in the business by cutting power to them – which we were able to do successfully while causing no disruption to their day-to-day running.

Once everything is connected, we can turn it on and witness the instant results. We carry out testing of the system and issue a handover pack, whilst getting a few staff members of the TVD Group set up on the remote monitoring application so they can enjoy checking in to see what the business has saved in carbon emissions and finances by having free electricity generated on-site every day! This is a huge success story for TVD Group and secures their energy needs, bill reduction goals, and environmental commitments going into the future.

Exploring the benefits for businesses like TVD Group in Bolton

Businesses like TVD Group in Bolton have a great opportunity to reduce their energy bills and help the environment with a solar energy solution. Investing in a solar pv system can provide significant savings on electricity costs and lower their carbon footprint.

The financial benefits of investing in a solar system are numerous. Through careful planning, businesses like TVD Group can save thousands of pounds a year on utility bills. This cost-saving could then be reinvested back into the business, making it more profitable than ever before. The installation process is also made simpler when working with an experienced team who understands the specific needs of each individual project.

In addition to reducing energy costs, a solar PV system also helps businesses lower their carbon footprint significantly by reducing emissions caused by traditional electricity generation methods like burning fossil fuels. By transitioning to renewable sources such as solar power, businesses like TVD Group are helping to combat global climate change while simultaneously improving their bottom line.

By investing in renewable energy solutions such as solar, Bolton businesses like the TVD Group will benefit from immediate cost savings and greater sustainability for years to come. With an experienced team providing tailored tips and advice throughout every step of the installation, harnessing the power of renewable energy has never been easier or more rewarding for businesses looking to make a positive difference in their community – both now and in the future.

Examples of successful projects using similar technology around the world

The potential of solar energy has been demonstrated around the world in a variety of successful projects. In India, for example, one of the largest rooftop photovoltaic solar power plants was recently installed in Gujarat. This 17-megawatt facility, located on government buildings, is expected to generate 30 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year – enough to power over 14,000 households.

In Africa, a solar plant was built near Johannesburg that supplies electricity to 20,000 homes and businesses. The 35MW facility consists of two large arrays connected to an extensive network of solar storage that provides reliable power even during cloudier days. The project is estimated to have saved more than 690,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions since its completion in 2017.

Other countries such as China, Japan, and the United States have also made significant investments in renewable energy sources such as solar power. Many cities are now equipped with large-scale solar farms that provide clean energy to thousands of citizens each year while cutting down on emissions and other environmental impacts.

The success stories above demonstrate how investing in renewable energy solutions can have tangible benefits for both businesses and communities alike. By investing in solar like the one offered by TVD Group, Homes and businesses can get their own piece of the clean energy revolution – benefitting from lower utility bills and lower carbon footprints while contributing towards a better future for everyone.

Why investing in renewable energy sources is important for reducing global carbon emissions.

Investing in renewable energy sources such as solar is essential for reducing global carbon emissions. Carbon dioxide is the primary greenhouse gas responsible for climate change, and its levels are at an all-time high. To make a real difference, it’s crucial that we take action to reduce our carbon footprint and switch to renewable energy sources that don't emit carbon dioxide when generating electricity.

With the current technology available, renewable energy sources are now a viable alternative to traditional fossil fuels for providing electricity to homes, businesses, and other buildings. Solar power is one of the most popular energy solutions due to its ability to generate electricity in even the most remote locations. Wind turbines also offer clean, affordable power by harnessing the power of nature’s most abundant resource. Finally, hydropower uses falling or running water to create kinetic energy that can be converted into usable electricity.

Using renewable sources of energy not only helps reduce carbon emissions but also creates jobs, strengthens local economies, provides reliable and affordable electricity for businesses and households alike, and secures our power supply against fuel price fluctuations. Aside from their environmental benefits, investing in renewable energy also has a positive impact on human health by reducing air pollution caused by burning fossil fuels.

In addition to these tangible benefits, investing in renewables can help achieve other long-term goals such as supporting economic development in less developed countries around the world or increasing access to clean water through improved waste management systems powered by solar panels or wind turbines.

Ultimately, making investments in renewable sources of energy is essential if we want to prevent further damage to our planet’s fragile environment due to global climate change caused by excessive carbon emissions. By transitioning away from traditional fossil fuel-based methods of generating electricity towards cleaner alternatives such as solar PV panels and wind turbines, we can ensure that future generations will have access to abundant amounts of clean energy while still preserving our planet’s resources for years to come.
